Rockwood Pool now has its own website, contracting with MemberSplash to manage applications and check-in, as well as guest passes, patio room rentals and concessions. Pool members will receive information with their pool packet.
Applications can also be made via paper/email In-Rockwood application and Out-of-Rockwood application. Payments may be made via square (link on the application).
Applications and payments are not considered active until both completed and signed form and payment are received.
2026 pool membership information was mailed to all Rockwood homeowners and those 2026 out-of-Rockwood pool members in March. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
Early Bird discounts are available through April 20th. Pool applications postmarked by April 20th receive 4 guest passes!

The staff of the Recreational Facility works diligently to prepare the facility, as well as formulate policies and procedures, for as safe a summer swimming experience as we can reasonably provide. Members have significant responsibilities in helping to make this summer experience fun and safe.

We encourage you to come down to the RRF, check out the pool, tour the facility and prepare to a great summer at the Rockwood pool!

Swim lessons and Swim Team are on! Children must be a pool member to participate in either event.
From just learning to have fun in the pool to experienced swimmers ready to hone their competitive skills, Rockwood Pool has a full schedule of learning activities for the summer! The setups are a little different, more precautions in place, an awesome pool and a line up of great instructors are ready to start.
Whether your kids just want to splash around in the pool, want to start/improve swimming skills or want to kick it up a notch (or two) to compete, Rockwood Pool is the place to be this summer.

Swim Lessons!
Children between the ages of 5 and 18, who can swim the length of the pool are invited to join. The overall structure of the season will remain consistent with previous years.
Practice starts June 1, 2026, concluding the second week in July. Practices are Monday through Friday with the following schedule:
· Senior 1 (ages 11& up): 8:00 – 8:45 a.m.
· Junior 1 (ages 10 & under): 8:45 – 9:20 a.m.
· Junior 2 (ages 10 & under): 9:20 – 9:55 a.m.
· Senior 2 (ages 11 & up): 9:55 – 10:40 a.m.
The competition schedule includes four Wednesday evening meets for Seniors (ages 11 and up) and four Saturday morning meets for Juniors (ages 10 and under).
The cost for the season is $80 per swimmer, plus a $10 championship meet fee (to be collected at a later date).

This year, Rockwood again offers a program to work one-on-one with any swimmer 6 years old or under or who has not swum competitively. Sessions are May 26/27 and May 28/29, cost is $30/session. Please contact Joe for more information.
These sessions are a great way for young or new swimmers who are a little unsure of how swim team is to get a chance to be more comfortable with a swimming practice before we have bigger groups.

From Introduction to Water Skills to more advanced stroke work, Rockwood pool staff offer three sessions this summer, with the first session starting in June.
Five skill levels from just getting started to experienced, low student/instructor ratio, and reasonable fees will help give the kids a great fun experience.
The Rockwood Swimming Lesson Program is implementing an exciting new format designed to enhance the overall learning experience and improve swimmer outcomes. Beginning this summer, we will transition from small group lessons to shorter, individualized one-on-one sessions.
Three sessions are offered this summer:
- June 1 – 11
- June 15 – June 25
- June 29 – July 9
Lessons are scheduled in 15-minute increments with classes held Monday through Thursday:
- 11:00 – 11:15 a.m.
- 11:15 – 11:30 a.m.
- 11:30 – 11:45 a.m.
The cost for each two-week session is $100.
The one-on-one model has been shown to be very successful for learners at all skill levels and more comfortable for newer swimmers.

It's all About the Park!
The grassy park with playground equipment and basketball court are open year-round, although restricted during the pool season. A doggy bag dispenser is at the front of the park area - please help keep our park clean.
The basketball and pickleball courts have been resurfaced, with new nets. During the summer months, basketball, pickleball rackets and balls are available at the pool office.
The sand volleyball courts provide for a friendly game or neighborhood tournament play. This fall the volleyball courts are open upon request. Please email rockwoodpoolwichita@gmail.com. in advance if you would like to use (the restriction is only for the protection of the courts/net from varmints and mischief). The nets will be put away for the winter later in the fall.
The Patio Party Room is available for rental during the summer months for a nominal fee. Please contact the Pool office for more information and to schedule.
